Stage 1: Diagnostic Auditing & Pain Point Identification

The project commenced with a comprehensive audit of the companies existing HRIS methods. I conducted a deep-dive analysis into current workflows to identify gaps and operational friction points. By aligning these findings with the company’s budget and long-term goals, I ensured that the foundation of the project was rooted in aligning organizational departments workspaces and people centric understandings.

Stage 2: Strategic Solution Architecture

With a clear understanding of the "as-is" state, I collaborated directly with Chief Officers to architect a solution that balanced executive expectations with employee usability. This stage involved vetting systems that could bridge the gap between compliance requirements and the daily routines of a remote, multicultural workforce, ensuring the chosen methods supported productivity and company alignment.

Stage 3: Customization & Departmental Alignment

Recognizing that a "one-size-fits-all" approach fails in complex remote environments, I customized the HRIS modules to meet the specific needs of individual departments. This bespoke configuration ensured that each team felt the system was designed for their unique workflows, fostering a sense of ownership and reducing resistance to the new digital infrastructure.

Stage 4: Change Management

To ensure the new system was operationally sound, I drafted and implemented robust executive communication methods . I led the Change Management process by hosting weekly HR training sessions, transforming the implementation from a "technical update" into a collaborative learning experience. This stage focused on transparency, addressing concerns in real-time, and building human fluency across the organization.

Stage 5: Integration, Inclusion & Value Embodiment

The final stage focused on the "human" element of HR. By prioritizing inclusivity and ensuring every team member felt supported during the transition, the project transcended technical success.

The Outcome

The project resulted in a confidential, user-friendly HRIS ecosystem. Beyond the infrastructures, the true success was the cultural shift: a unified team that feels connected to the company’s mission, supported by systems that reflect a "We Care" philosophy. This last project allowed me to complete my contractual service period joyfully while having had the opportunity to work with highly talented individuals from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria and Malaysia. They were all phenomenal and have not only given me this experience but the opportunity to grow, test my limits and discover new interests that I will carry with me in my professional journey.

What I enjoyed most about this journey was the people behind the processes. Understanding each individual in the company from cultural background, to personal ticking and professional inputs and outputs allowed me to not only set a HR foundation but understand the people behind the jobs and what they truly desired and needed to succeed at the given time period and bring that into alignment with Human Resources Management.

What shocked me most about working with such a vast group of cultures is we all shared 3 common aspects:

  1. Highly committed to success and reaching our goals not only as a team but each person was motivated in their own personal lives and projects.

  2. Humour! this was the best part, dark humour was the ice breaker in most our meetings and everyone laughed along. This was my first time experiencing cultures unite with sarcasm and jokes but not in a nasty way! It was purely well intended. As HR we not supposed to laugh with really hahah BUT I couldn't help myself - they are funny!

  3. Lastly the other aspect I quickly learnt was when people truly want to work together and be understood - language will not stand in the way. None of us could speak most of each other's National languages but I was able to analyse everyone was trying to communicate the same thing. Passion, Goals, Work ethics and Feelings is something that transcends beyond words and languages and THAT was truly something beautiful for me to be able to translate across the board and be a part of.
